Cecile's Chocolate Brownies

Many thanks to our erstwhile housemate Cecile for giving us this lovely recipe.
200g cooking chocolate
250g butter in 1 cm dice
250g sugar
200g plain white flour
4 eggs
150g nuts of your choice, fairly finely chopped
Heat oven to 175C
Butter a shallow 10" x 6" baking dish
In a large metal bowl over a pan of gently boiling water, melt the chocolate, and when melted add butter . Mix well together
Remove from heat. Mix in the sugar, then add the eggs one by one
Add flour, mix well, and then add nuts
For brownies that are slightly sticky in the middle, bake for 20 – 25 minutes
Allow to cool before eating (if possible). Goes very nicely with a glass of ice cold milk
